Celebrate Bike Month with coffee! In collaboration with VeloPaso and El Paso Bike Month, we'll ride out to three local places on Sunday morning to see where we can get some good cups of coffee in El Paso.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
10:20-10:35am: Meet in front of Monarch Bar
10:35am-11:20am: Ride out to Joe Vinny and Bronsons Bohemian Cafe and indulge
11:20am-11:55am: Cross the street to Salt and Honey Bakery Cafe and indulge
11:55am-12:30pm: Head back to Monarch bar and indulge
Join us for some coffee and bikes! This schedule is subject to modification, depending on how big the group is. There's a SunCycle BikeShare station about 5 minutes away from Monarch Bar for those of you who'd rather rent a bike than take your bike to downtown. Looking forward to some good vibes, good coffee, and good times with you all!!
***Note: You are responsible for knowing basic bike riding street rules. If you feel that you can't ride on the street, there will be plenty of other meetups where we'll get to indulge in coffee tasting. As always, there's no judgment, only concern and safety for your health. Check out this link for a general guide to Texas bike laws. :)
May is National Bike Month, sponsored by the League of American Bicyclists and celebrated in communities from coast to coast. Established in 1956, National Bike Month is a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling — and encourage more folks to giving biking a try.
Whether you bike to work or school; ride to save money or time; pump those pedals to preserve your health or the environment; or simply to explore your community, National Bike Month is an opportunity to celebrate the unique power of the bicycle and the many reasons we ride.
